RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS: Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center: Last Horizon is a multi-user game running on the Magic Planet. It was developed by students of Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center (ETC). Carnegie Mellon University Students’ Flickr App for the Magic Planet. The Eye is a "toy" made by the Hatch team from Carnegie Mellon University's ETC Microsoft Corporation: Hrvoje Benko of Microsoft demonstrates a multi-user, multi-touch Magic Planet – a Microsoft R&D project. Microsoft’s Hrvoje Benko and the new “Touch Sphere” on Channel 10 of Redmond, WA. Sphere is a multi-user, multi-touch-sensitive spherical display developed at Microsoft Research.
